I’m not quite sure where summer went this year, but somehow we’re already fast approaching the colder months. Which means there’s a whole load of new trends to get on board with! This year, there is a style for everyone, with the runways looking more vast and varied than they ever have done.
DARK FLORALS
Floral dresses are an essential in pretty much every women’s wardrobe, but this year darker florals have made and epic come back, majorly referencing the 40’s. Midi lengths have been a growing trend for the past couple of years as it is (a trend I love), but they’ve taken the title for the key shape of the dresses this autumn.
PUFF SLEEVES
A puffed sleeve is an effortlessly cool look that will suit anyone and everyone. Whether it’s a rounded shoulder, perfect for a quick work look, or a puff sleeve that is entirely inappropriate for eating dinner with. There is something for everyone, from classy and chic, to statement and edgy.
NEUTRALS
What started of as a trend I hated, the neutral colour palette has grown on me considerably as it’s cropped up on the runways for this autumn. It offers a fresh new palette, and can be worked head to toe in the shade. It gives a mature aesthetic touch to all our wardrobes.
HANDBAGS
Whether it’s retro or super sleek, statements handbags are more and more becoming the rage. Alongside the the teeny tiny micro bag which can also be seen taking the runways by storm this year. Roomy enough to fit in the essentials and classic enough to never go out of style.
NEON
The complete opposite to this years neutral trend, but a trend that seems to be just as well received. Taking the highstreet by storm throughout the summer, the trend is set to stay well into autumn and winter. There’s no excuse to be packing away your bright summer clothes just yet!
What are the trends you’re most looking forward too this winter?!
Han x
I love all the trends you mentioned, except for the neon. While I love neon on other people, I don’t think it looks very good on me. Not only that, but I’m already kind of tired of that trend. Great post Han xxx

Thank you! Neon isn’t for everyone, it took me months to get on board with it, but I totally see where your coming from! X
