Travel Plans: 2019

In 2018 the most adventurous place I travelled to was Birmingham, wild I know. This year I’m making more of an effort to let my hair down and enjoy myself. Seeing the world is something I’ve always wanted to do, but I’m sure I speak for many when I say that’s something much easier said than done!

I wanted to make this list as realistic as possible, because lets face it, on a student budget in my second year of uni, travelling the world is slightly optimistic!

The city of love! I think every blogger in the history of blogging has visited Paris, judging by peoples Instagram feeds, that is apart from me of course! Luckily, I already have this trip penciled in and paid for! I’ve been given the opportunity to visit Paris with my university, which actually lands on Valentines day! What better week to go, I’ll be spending it with all of my friends, having the time of my life, and researching for uni of course, can’t forget about that!

I optimistically wrote one of these last year, and Edinburgh cropped up then too. I’ve been an avid watcher of Zoella’s vlogs for years now, every Christmas when she visits Edinburgh it always looks so perfect! You can’t go wrong with a good Christmas market and the ones here look amazing!

Am I going for the Instagram pictures or the cultural experience? I’ll let you decide! There are SO many spots in Amsterdam that I want to visit, one of the main ones being the Van Gough Sunflower Exhibition – he is one of my favourite artists and sunflowers are my favourite flowers, I would be in my absolute element!

Another beautiful country, specifically Santorini – whenever I hop onto Pinterest to look for holiday ideas, I can always guarantee that Santorini will crop up and it looks absolutely gorgeous! So white and pristine, slightly different to Leicester eh!

A girls holiday that just needs to be done in order to say I’ve experienced it! My best friend and I have wanted to go on a girls holiday for years now, so fingers crossed, this year will be the year we put it into practice!

What places are on your travel bucket list this year?!

All my love,

Han xx

  1. Edinburgh is one of my favorite places ever! Of course, Amsterdam and Paris are lovely as well. I’m going to SE Asia with my brother, Thailand for sure but still working on where else to go. I also hope to go to Mexico for scuba diving. Good luck with your travel endeavors, I can’t wait to read!
