Today we’ve got a bit more of a relaxed post for Blogmas. I always love tag posts as they really allow you to get to know the writer behind the Blog, and when it’s festive, even better I say!
What is your favourite Christmas Movie?
Ooo this is such a tough one, I have watched many many Christmas movies and also had my fair share of seeing some absolutely shocking ones. I can’t pick just one, so I’ll give you my top 3; Christmas With The Kranks – I’ve watched this so many time I can pretty much recite it word for word. Love Actually – One that never fails to make me cry; it’s a Christmas Eve tradition to watch this in my household. Then lastly, Elf – Of course I couldn’t miss this one out, an all time classic. I could on and on with this list!
Have you ever had a white Christmas?
Unfortunately no, in the UK it tends to snow earlier in the year, that’s if we’re even lucky to get any at all!
Where do you normally spend your Christmas Holiday?
Always at home – most of my family live very close to each other so who’s house we spend it at changes year on year. This year we are having Christmas Dinner at my house with all the family, then drinks and celebrations in the evening at my Aunts house!
What is your favourite Christmas song?
Easy, Fairytale of New York, without a doubt!
Do you open any Christmas presents on Christmas Eve?
This has never really been a tradition in my house, and I’ve never really understood why peopled do this. Presents, for me, are always associated with actual Christmas Day!
What Christmas traditions are you looking forward to this year?
My family doesn’t really have any Christmas traditions. However it’s always a bit of a tradition on Christmas Eve to have a little movie night, Mum always cooks a lovely spread of food and it’s just a very chilled evening spent with all my family!
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Our Christmas tree has always been fake, I’m not actually sure of the reason why, but at least it always looks perfect every year!
What is your all time favourite Christmas treat/food?
Has to be the cheese board, I always look forward to the excessive cheese eating that goes on throughout the festive period! Also, goes without saying, Christmas chocolates – particularly Celebrations!
Do you prefer giving or receiving gifts?
100% giving gifts! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy receiving gifts too, but I just love shopping for other people, wrapping them up and then watching there reactions when they open it. I think this is something I have come to appreciate more as I have got older, I just love putting all the thought into other peoples gifts!
What is the best Christmas gift you have received?
I have had so many lovely gifts over the years, I don’t think I could pick one!
What would be your dream place to visit for Christmas?
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to go to New York at Christmas. It just looks so incredible, and one day I’m determined to spend Christmas there!
What makes the holidays special for you?
It’s definitely spending time with my family. Now that I am living away from home, I appreciate the holidays even more as it’s 3 weeks eating too much food, drinking too much wine all with the people I love most!
Now that completes my Christmas tag, however I couldn’t narrow it down to just a few bloggers to nominate, so I nominate anyone else reading this to take part in the fun tag!
All my love,
