Skinkissed Serum Review

I’ve always suffered with quite sensitive skin, my childhood was spent applying different steroid creams in attempt to calm my eczema, so when it comes to branching out of my normal skincare routine, I’m always a bit skeptical.

I recently came across a serum which claimed to be a miracle in a bottle, used to treat an array of different things, but the point that drew me to it, was that it claimed to make your skin look healthy and glowing. I’m very lucky with my skin, as despite it being very sensitive, I’ve never really suffered with problematic skin (spots, acne, etc.). Despite this I do often get frustrated with how dull my skin sometimes looks, therefore when I heard about this serum, I thought I might as well give it a go and see if it works for me. I did my research into what was in the product itself, as I only really like to use natural products, which the serum was, containing lots of vitamin C.

So I thought given I have sensitive skin, I would let you all know how I got on with the product, and whether its worth the money. On arrival the bottle is packaged fairly average, it comes in a small glass container, with a pipette that is used to get the product out with. The consistency is thicker than any other serum that I have used before, and is also clear, which I was intrigued by, as most serums hold the same colours as facial creams.

I applied this after getting out of the shower in the morning, having previously washed my face. The application was just like any other serum, went on smoothly, and it instantly made my skin feel hydrated, and a lot softer. As it is a serum I did then proceed to apply my normal daily face moisturizer, the Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating moisturizer, which I swear by. Often as I get on with my day, my skin begins to dry out slightly and I sometimes feel like it needs another moisturize, but when I wore this serum underneath my normal skincare products, I found that I could go the whole day without my skin starting to feel dry and tight.

Overall I am SO impressed with this product, it has really lived up to the expectations that I had. Like I say, the reason that I was drawn to it was because it claimed to brighten your skin, which I can truthfully say it has done. It also claims to help acne prone skin, also problematic skin, which unfortunately I can’t say it has done, as I never had troubled skin to begin with. If you’re looking for a good quality serum, that keeps your skin looking and feeling hydrated all day, I couldn’t recommend this product more. Thank you to the team at Skinkissed for sending me out this dreamy product to try out!

All my love,

Han xx

  1. I’m like you I don’t really struggle with any skin issues – my skin isn’t sensitive either but I do love the hydrated feel that products give you face so I’ll have to check it out x
